Galaxy Solar Storage

Located in Kern County, California, the Galaxy Solar Storage project, currently under development, is expected to have the capacity to produce up to 600 MW of clean, renewable energy. The facility will incorporate the most advanced solar energy and battery energy storage technologies, including U.S. manufactured panels by First Solar. Construction of the facility is expected to create over 600 jobs at peak of construction activities and generate approximately $16 million in property tax revenue in its first full year of operations, in addition to sales tax and other local benefits.
