Project development teams work with local, state and federal agencies to permit projects that meet rigorous environmental standards. Compliance specialists provide continuous oversight to help ensure facilities operate in accordance with environmental regulations and minimize impacts to wildlife and natural resources.

Alta Environmental Services
In 2012, Terra-Gen created Alta Environmental Services (AES) to help protect the federally endangered California condor in Kern County, California, one of the nation’s most productive wind regions. Since then, AES has been expanded to include the monitoring and protection of golden eagles through field observations conducted by biologists and field technicians, where feasible.
