Beaumont
Located in the City of Beaumont, Riverside County, CA, the Beaumont Energy Storage Facility is a stand-alone 100MW energy storage project located on a 7-acre site within the City’s industrial zone.
The Beaumont Energy Storage Facility produces enough electricity to power up to 100,000 homes for four hours on a single charge, and includes long-term power purchase agreements with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E). The Facility provides important grid reliability services to the local area and helps integrate greater supplies of renewable energy in California. It will also provide the local community tens of millions in tangible economic benefits over the life of the Facility in the form of direct and indirect jobs associated with the Project’s construction and increased property taxes.
