Sam Sours

Prior to joining Terra-Gen in 2023, Sam Sours served as Senior Director of Origination and Vice President of Development for AES Clean Energy and Community Energy Solar, managing the development, interconnection, origination and transactional portfolio of more than 3,000 MWs across the central and western United States since 2010.

Prior to 2010 Sam held various real estate development and engineering management positions in commercial and residential development for Panattoni Development, Kimley-Horn, Gillans Engineering and the Farnsworth Group. Sam was also the President of the Aspen Park Water and Sanitation Board, a special district in Colorado, for more than 10 years. 

Sam holds a BSCE degree from Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, VA and is a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Colorado (retired PE licenses: NM, NE, WY, KS).
