Valley Center

Located in San Diego County, California, the Valley Center energy storage project has the capacity to produce 139 MW of safe and reliable energy. The storage facility reached commercial operations in 2021. 

The project provides short-duration energy storage capable of producing enough electricity to power approximately 140,000 homes at full output.
