Dan Thompson

Mr. Thompson has more than 30 years of experience in the power and energy business and leads Terra-Gen’s origination efforts.  Prior to his current role, Mr. Thompson was Vice President, Origination at Invenergy LLC, responsible for leading the company’s long-term contracting efforts for natural gas, wind, and solar projects in the US and Canada. 

Prior to Invenergy, his previous power industry experience includes senior roles in business development and project development at independent power producers Nations Energy and Calpine. Mr. Thompson started his career in the power projects division of Westinghouse Electric Corp.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
