John O'Connor

John O’Connor served as Terra-Gen’s Chief Financial Officer since 2009, leading the financial strategy and capital raising activities for the company. Under his leadership, the company has secured over $10 billion in capital to deliver approximately 6 gigawatts (GW) of renewable projects.

Prior to joining the company, John was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for Cogentrix Energy, then a wholly owned subsidiary of The Goldman Sachs Group.

John holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University.
